Hemroids and Sex

Hemroids and sex is definitely a controversial issue. Firstly let me clarify that the sexual act I am talking about here is anal sex.

Some say that the act of anal sex, actually heals hemroids, if you have a hemroid. While it will not cause hemroids if you don't have any.

The assumption behind this, is that the friction will actually push the hemroid back up the anal canal.

This theory will only work with prolapsed hemroids. With external or thrombosed hemroids, I cannot see this principle functioning.

The Other Opinion

The other public opinion about sex and hemroids, reckons that anal sex causes hemroids, rather than curing them at all. The same applies with prolapsed hemroids.

Actually they claim it will worsen the condition.

Important Fact

However one thing is agreed upon. When having anal sex, with or without hemroids, a lubricant should be used at all times.
