Hemroid Laser Surgery

The very first problem with hemroid laser surgery is that the actual laser machine is very expensive for a doctor to buy, hence you will only find laser in very few practices.

Who has managed to buy a laser machine will need to do many procedures before they become experts at it.

Another downside is that laser is ultra sensitive and therefore easy to cause deep tissue injuries.

The Procedure

The way it works is that a hot beam is directed at the base of the hemroid. This beam is used to damage the tissues and the veins inside the tissues, so that blood stops flowing to the hemroid.

Without blood feeding the hemroid, they will die and a few days later will fall off.

The Concerns

This procedure can be done in a doctor's room. However it is very expensive to use laser surgery, because of the initial expense the doctor has with the equipment.

Pain is suffered during the surgery, because of the heat the laser gives off. Pain is also felt way after the procedure. Bleeding can occur for a prolonged period, making it very subjective to infections.

A high possibility of incontinence is also a risk.

This type of surgery is suitable mainly for small internal hemroids.
